Sure thing, were creating a fps paintball game, but not some boring paintball game like the ones that are on the market, its all mp online so that the challenge is upto to the players. This makes things more fun, we will also have a cheat that everyone can use that will turn the scene into laser tag and you rack up points. Witha specified game server. Kinda a better thing then paintball seeing as how paintball you only get one shot. But anyways what we really need is some sweet paintball guns done. As realistic as possible like your gun there with normal maps. It would totaly rock, you choose the style whatever is easiest for you we have several models done but they have no textures at all. You can email me directly at thrillride3d@gmail.ocm if you can even spare 1 hr a week that would rock. Thanks bud.

Looks good, if not rather shiny. The normal map really makes that wood look fake. Use the photoshop normal map filter on the wood to make the normal map reflect the wood grain, because at the moment it makes that whole area look shiny and that looks really unrealistic.

Shandaman, must you poach people for your project? Private Messages are there for a reason.

Guys...no argueing. Its quite childish. Shanda...yes, sniper does have a point you shouldn't have to post such a big thing on such a matter like that in here. A nice "Would you be interested in my project" would do..PM's are useful for that;). Sniper, its fine you mentioned PM's, but you could do without this "must you poach people for your project?". Noth of you need to stop with the back and forth.

Back to the model.

Mrw...I sure hope to more of your models in the future :).

That may sound a bit out of line, but it's just Shandaman just generally annoys me. I mean, look at his signature. He seems to be asking to be flamed.

he he I've never recieve so many posts...just cool down guys...I don't feel "poached" whatever that mean (my english is not so good)...

SniperMaster - it's shiny on purpose - I don't know how to translate this but in real life when you want to keep the wood in good condition for long you paint the wood with some sort of collorles paint and that makes the wood shiny

That really does sound like you're trying to cover up for being lazy. Polishing (polish is what you meant) doesn't remove all the wood grain, so you wouldn't get a perfect finish - especially if the gun is being used a lot.

I usually don't like gun models, but I think this one looks pretty sweet. Awesome job.

SniperMaster - you probebly right about the grain but I'm not trying co cover somethig up...I've just thought it should be so but now I know I was wrong :)....maybe I am lazy but not if it comes to CG :)
