Hi, here's the pictures first.

Basically, when i create my models and meshsmooth, many creases and bumps are created even though my model has the correct topology. Removing the vertex and then recreating the topology easily fixes the problem but the amount of vertexes that need deleting and recreation is driving me insane. I've heard of this problem, apprently it happens when you use a lot of scripts, yet i only use one. I've spent so much time redoing sections of my model when i shouldn't have to.
Any ideas why this happens? Thanks in advance.

Hi man. This looks similar to a problem i often have. Its just a bug. I think caused by using some scripts!
try seelcting the model. then in the systems tab selected collapse all. then reset x form, then on the modify panel, slect collapse all again and finally convert back to poly from mesh.
hope this works

Thanks for the help Sutton, unfortunately it didn't help :(. If you or any one else has any more suggestions, they would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Check if it has 2 or more vertices near of your problem, and check this too, go to edge selection mode, select that edge and seek the property 'Crease', it must be 0.

Hi, crease is 0 and i always select all vertices and weld by 0.1 just to make sure there's no overlapping vertices after extensive work to my mesh. I see absolutely nothing on my mesh that is causing this. Thanks for the suggestions, any more would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Send the file with the erro in my email and ill see it in my computer.

it still may be problem with welding. I don't exactly remember when it didnt weld prperly, but it had something to do with un-proper modelling. Maybe the verticles arent connected or sth.. damn, don't remember at all...
EDIT: try zooming in from a non-perspective view (top, for example) as close as you can, and see, if you see anything weird :)

Omg, i spent over an hour removing vertices and reconnecting the edges on my model to fix it, it was all fine after that, i saved then the next time i opened the file all the errors are back. Omfg this is driving me nuts.
maybe you saved to another file?

Nope. I just started on a new section of my model and the exact same thing is happening, little bumps and errors all over the place, some edges are causing meshsmooth results as if i've chamfered or added an edge close to the original one. Only solution is to delete the vertex and reconnect the edges. There's absolutely no overlapping vertices, edges and my topology is correct.
Someone out there has to be having this exact problem.
