hi peeps ... this is my first post on this forum...
I am currently using 3dsmax... and studying a degree in digital animation over in the United Kingdom... I have been on this course for a year and a half... therefore only had a year and half experience in 3d .. so any thoughts on my work??
Im making a short film adventure for my 2nd year film
here is some of my work: im using mental ray renderer and ambient occlusion renderat the moment... I still need to texture and finish off the modelling

I like the overall style of your characters. On your human character, I'd say that your character's belly seems to be a little flat, and his face could use some work, especially the cheek and mouth area. A wireframe of the face might be helpfull for comments. Also, the ridge that connects the nose to the forehead seems to end up a bit sharp too. I like the hairstyle. boots and sword.
As for your other character, I think he looks pretty nice, I love his toonish skull face, so I'll leave that one alone and wait for you to post the textures :)
Hope this helps somewhat.
