very nice one artencl...more time with this one could lead to a perfect artwork..just one thing (it's a personal point of view) may be if you changed the face color to more of a very light blue it would be better ..but overall ..great work amigo ;)
i will do mine soon.. i have a vampire, beast portraits nation in my sketch book.. but i didn't do one since a year or something.. i have to do something very evil and different this time..

Hi Guys,

It's been a while......so extremely busy but the good news is I got to spare an hour for my speed painting of a vampire on my funky new tablet! May even get to do a second one if I'm lucky.

Nice start Artecnl. Strangely enough i quite like the colours you chose - creates an interesting mood .......but even more strange is I actually know someone who looks like that (his fangs aren't quite as long though)! :)

Here's one from me anyway. 1 hour, Intous 3, Photoshop.

Best of luck to all!

hey, nice entries so far, everyone. it's seems there's some new talent joining the challenges. to those of you that are new, welcome!

artecnl: interesting pic, almost like dracula when he's waking up or something. unusual choice of colors, but it seems to work. also, you did this one quick - maybe it could have been a little more polished if you took more time, but for 25 mins nice work.

crackerlips: that's a mean looking vampire. wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley, heh. there might be some small symmetry issues with the nose/face, but the lighting and coloring are great. overall a very nice render.

rawwad: very cool style. it's a true speed-paint, and you can really feel the energy of it. also a very intimidating looking vampire, there. reminds me of the pre-Dracula, Byzantian vampires.

Turoid: looking alright, but could be touched up in a lot of places. for example, his ears aren't colored in all the way!? but anyway, it's pretty good so far. a bit more practice and I think you'll have the speed painting thing down.

splinter: really nice work - looks straight up professional. it's kind of like one of those twisted fairy-tale illustrations. wonder what she's looking at that's pissing her off so much.

anyway, again, great job to everyone so far. hopefully there are many more great entries to come. I hope my comments were useful. peace.

Ok Vamps eh??? Totally missed the last one, but gonna try and get one done for this... Nice images so far, I really like RAWWAD's style, very free flowing and interesting. The usual high standards as always shown by CRACKERLIPS and ARTECNL. TUROID - good start, what I would class as an old skool style vamp like that from early Black and Movies. And SPLINTER, what can I say but WOW, just one thing though, you may have to check that counts as It may have took to long, and if it does count then it could be game over all ready... lol - Keep up the great work everyone.

hey, here's my shot at this one. this painting ended up being a lot more involved than I originally intended, but I guess it was worth it because I learned a few things while doing it. anyway, here it is. enjoy.

fantastic work everyone... nucron, splinter..totaly professional..great work man.. but the time is too long..we are talking about hours here not days.. it's a speed painting . your work dont have to be fully done but the idea is reach a good looking image in a short period..so you can do just a speed one in a couple of hours or something a little bit more if you concern about details like i see ..

Thanks Waheed - I appreciate your feedback :) I actually tried (very briefly) to do as you say to not have it the very same as the reference I used but I couldn't get it to look right so I left it. I didn't really have much time but I'll probably try to edit it in the future and see how I get on.

Rawwad: I love the sketchy style - Gives the sense of visciousness and anger.

Ximahmoud: Thanks for the comments. You're right - The wacom is class & I think this had to be done :) I tried changing it as much as possible to give it a bit of my own style like using different colours and adding blood..etc (for a bit of an old skool look) and added some texture (though that's not too clear on the scaled version I had to post) but with my limited time it did turn out very similar alright. No harm though - it's all good practice for me....this was the first face I have ever attempted to paint, reference or no (with the exception of my octopus for that speed paining challenge back in the day... and that was a complete disaster:)) so I'm quite pleased how this turned out.

Turoid: Very nice attempt. I'm inclined to agree with Nucron though. Another thing which may help is to ease off the opaque brushes/colours and try directly using the colour you want (instead of different levels of white or black over the first colour to lighten or darken tone)....if you know what I mean!?

Splinter: Thats awesome dude! I really love the colours, textures, lighting and ...idea. I'm not sure how long you spent over the 2 days to do it but have a read of this and all will be clear: http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?t=24525
Even if it isn't allowed, it's still remarkable what can be achieved in just two short days. Nice one!

Nucron: Thanks for the comments & crits. Could you clarify on the symmetry issue it has though please so i'll know for the next time? One thing I do to try and avoid symmetry and perspective problems is constantly flip the image horizontally (and vertically sometimes) while painting and it tends to work but I can't see what you mean here. Maybe I've been away too long ;)
Your picture is really very good by the way :) Nice colours used. Very evil mood got from the scene . The girls right arm is pointing the wrong way though - looks painful ;) lol

Buffdady: Cheers mate. Looking forward to an entry form your talented self :)

thank you for the comments ximahmoud, Turoid, and crackerlips.

crackerlips, sorry I didn't clarify better before. in my view, it seems that your vampire's nose is at an angle as if the face is turned slightly to the right, while the eyes and mouth appear to be facing straight forward. to match up, maybe the center of the nose should be directly above the center of the mouth?

and in my painting, I can see what you mean about the arm. originally I was going to have it go the other way, but then I changed my mind and made it such that the arm/hand is face down on the ground. maybe I should have went the other way.

and rusted, is my picture not showing up for you? it's there, man. by the way, interesting sketch you've done. that's a suave-looking vampire. but his face might be a bit long? great for 15 mins though. I'll look forward to your next one.

w00t, funny idea with the wannabe vampire kid. maybe a bit more could have been done with the background, like maybe putting a shadow under him or something, but for the comic strip style you're going for, it works well. you should sign your work!

w00t: Funny comicstrip :) Hope to see another from you!

Rusted & Hammer: Cheers dudes. Rusted:Your vampire is good enough for 15 mins work. Are you going to funk it up with a bit of colour? I'd like to see that.

Nucron: Thanks again - I see what you mean now alright......I'll only know these things if people tell me so .....nice one! I gotta spend quite some time practicing characters.

Sicksurfer: Now what mean son-of-a-b**ch vampire went and bit the poor teddy? He doesn't look too pleased! :)

Art Mekanik: Very unusual take on the theme - I like it ....but I'm not sure about having the whole image blurry though!? Looks really well when you stand back a bit and squint.

Andoy: Thanks mate. I figured most people would recognise it :)

Bers: Did you sign up to Threedy just to tell me that? Thanks for the helpful comment - NOT! I never claimed it was original - I mainly wanted to get the practice in with the short amount of time I had and throw something up since I haven't been here in a while but hey.......I'm happy with it as my first attempt at painting a face! How's about you post a pic and then maybe your comments will have value.

Axeface: Thanks friend.

RBL: Is that a good or a bad thing? Originality-wise, obviously not but some crits on my colouring, symmetry..etc please? See nucron's post - that sorta thing is quite helpful! :)

Some sweet entries so far.
Rawwad, Sick, I love the sketchyness, and how the colors work together.
Splinter, Damn. Regardless of timeframe, if that only took you two days,
that's still freakin speedy. It looks like it could have easily taken
three or four days.
w00T, That's a funny little guy you got there. I totally did that when I
was a kid.
So here is my second entry. Not where I had originally thought I would go with this, but I liked the sketch. So here it is. A little over three hrs, pencil, photoshop, and an intuos 3. Enjoy.

I just uploaded the updated version. Is editing allowed? I still have the old one, and would be glad to post it back up. Edit time: 1hr

Nucron: Thanx buddy I admit that I made a Long mouth... and sorry I just didn't notice yer entry... thats a nice piece.. only a very little matter with Anatomy... but THAT looks like a traditional Painting :)

Crackerlips: Oh well so you haven't drawn a Face before?... Well that was a Good inspiration afterall... I'll Post something new rather than coloring that long-faced creep... wut do think hunh?

Lemmy: oh Dear Great.... "Queen of the Damned" nice work

nucron
24-05-2006, 02:58 AM
hey, not to complain, but are people seeing my picture? it seems that some people go right from Splinter's painting to w00t's painting when they comment on paintings in order. and I know Rusted said he didn't see it before. it's kind of weird. maybe it's just that bad that people don't notice it or don't care to comment... :blah:

but anyway, enough about me.

Sicksurfer: I can tell from your challenge entries that you are a man who likes his teddies. it's a funny idea you have there. maybe after a few challenges you'll have a whole series of these teddy drawings, and then you can put them all together. that would be cool. anyway, it's good to see some nicely done vector art here.

art mekanik: interesting choice of colors. maybe it could have been sharpened up a bit as far as the detail, and perhaps some more could have been done with the background. also, I think this would benefit from some bold brush strokes. for example, the highlight on the collar of the cape could have been done in one sweeping stroke instead of several smaller ones, and that would have added to the power of the picture that you get through the vampire's pose. but overall, nice work for 30 minutes. like I said, I like his pose.

Lemmy: really nice character art here. it seems that maybe a bit more could have been done in the background, as it seems sort of generic right now. having the dead guy with body parts scattered about is a nice touch, though. also, maybe the painting could do with some more contrast. the colors work well together, but unfortunately all the elements seem to be blending into eachother. a couple of highlights and shadows would do the job, or even a quick round of contrast filters in PS. and one last thing about the anatomy of the wing. I know this is make believe, but if you look at the "arm" that supports a real bat wing, it seems that the first "segment" should actually go down to the first joint, and then the next segment should go up into the arc formed by the second joint, then the third segment goes down completing the arc. right now you have the first segment going up, and forming the arc with the first joint. anyway, these are all small things. her human anatomy and such looks good. great work here.

Rusted: true enough about the anatomy in my painting. I noticed that too with the arms and such, but I thought it would take some effort to fix, so I decided to just leave it. I was experimenting and seeing how I would do if I just started painting on a blank canvas, without drawing any guidelines first. I guess I have a few things to learn about that approach, heh. glad you liked it, though.

Sweet feedback, thanks all. I was havin trouble with the bkg, mainly, I just don't like drawing them, and I try and get by with as little work as possible. Although, for this little lady, (and you guys) I'm gonna have to revisit it.

The bkg could really use more definition, and a whole new lighting scheme to make her a believable part of this picture. I think I'm gonna try and make it look like a hole in the clouds has given her that spotlight effect.

And, Nucron's wing insight is dead on. I'll have to look into fixing that as well.

Thanks again,

Hello everybody =) finally decided to join in here, too. saw this contest yesterday and thought, why not paint *the* vampire, vlad dracul himself. not sure if it will count in the contest, since I kept him as a silhouette, though.

It came out a little dark I guess, especially against the bright background here, but I hope you like it though. about 2-2,5 hours.

okay, hope this attachment works ^^'

crackerlips: Obviously bad, that draw is directly copied from "Vampire the masquerade" game cover: http://www.sfondideldesktop.com/Images-Games/Vampire-The-Masquerade/Vampire-The-Masquerade.jpg

And I think it wouldn´t be allowed. I was disqualified once a time by using a photo of an antenna in a little part of an speedpaint. And I think that this is much worse.

I think you might have missed the point RBL!? I didn't trace ANY part of the reference, I didn't use ANY portion of someone elses picture in mine and I didn't pick colours from it either!!
I had the ref on one monitor "to look at", and I painted it in Photoshop on the other. What's the problem there? Ref's are allowed - see no. 6 in the challenge rules!!

Anyway....some excellent pics coming in guys - keep it up. :)

I threw both RBLs reference photo and crackerlips picture in Photoshop. They don't even come close to lining up, and the colour palettes are totally different, so it's obviously not a paint-over.
Good job crackerlips, it looks nice.

Hi, Friends.
I hope everything is alright. Here is my first contribution at this Speed Painting Challenge. The vampire is Max Schreck, a german actor, in the film “Nosferatu-eine Sinfonie des Grauens”, (Nosferatu-a Symphony of Horror), Germany 1922. Direction: Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. One exquisite film of vampires, in Black and White, that I recommend to watch.
Corel PhotoPaint 12 and PhotoShop CS. 1 hour, 9 minutes, with mouse.
I hope you like it.

Thanks Rusted, and no, I don't use painter, I use ps7.
as for your speedpainting, I'd love to see this worked out more, you should really take it beyond the scribble stage and actually blotch in some paint =) I'd also cool down the background to the left, to create a nice warm/cold contrast with the light coming from the right.

boristone: nice idea, but I think some refinement would be really nice, so far it all has a very soft brushed look, some harder edges, and maybe more shading instead of outlines, would help to define the character more, and give it a cleaner look =)

Ineedsleep: I personally use a wacom graphics tablet, yes, although there are a few people who did wonderful works with a simple mouse. but I guess in most cases a tablet will make painting more convenient. the only thing it does not do is to teach one drawing =D

The water color is very nice medium but very difficult. By the way, your artwork # 46 to go for this style together charcoal, oil pastel and white India Ink. Very, very nice arwork. Congratulations

OKAY..here iam.. very nice entries guys.. well done all.. jessie rivers you keep doing this kind of paint and i love it..dont ever stop,,
so.. 90 minutes sketching on paper with pencil, 120 minutes on photoshop cs2.. doing all the other things.. no detailing techniques.. just hue/saturation..layer masks and burn, dodge.. .. the ref., is good enough to track the details.. not very good but just enough.. actually it's an image of a sclupted half vampire..
keep it going guys we still have 5 days..

Just a few questions I´m new here=)

What is a Speed painting on this thread it seems it´s all from three days to 30min where´s the limit just for clarification, and what size is the best when you want to post something.

its all upto u, but as its a speed painting thingi, its good to spend lil time to achieve a good result, a sketchy look is what one is after, no need to have a finished master piece. in my humble opinion, an hour or so per artwork is okay.
about size, close to 800 pxls wd by 600 pxls ht would be fine.

for our new friends, here are the Rules, pls go thru them, here:

Hi, Challenge Fellow Countrymen:
Ximahmoud: Thanks for your comments. You are so generous with my artwork. Thank you. By the Way: I like your entry# 69. The colors are good balanced, creating an atmosphere really diabolical. Congratulations.
Waheed: The same of Ximahmoud. Watching your artwork I remember Rembrandt. Congratulations too.

The Best for you

And i did appreciate the feedback on my last entry Ill try not to blurr it up and make more define strokes. thanks guys.

one more thing try looking at this image from a distance....cause i thought it was kind of eerie.... i was sitting in the other room and i had my image up and was looking at it from a distance and just kinda threw me off.

so... quite the friendly welcome here, I see : P

Nah seriously though, no worries I'm just not sure if no response means "decent but nothing special" or "too amateur to comment on"... whatever the case though, just curious to know what you guys think.

Dunno if this is bad form, being new to this forum, but can't sleep so thought I would just respond to a few pieces here too. Definitely no expert, just my two cents. :)

MoKhatib, I like the lighting and the way you build up your faces... has a lot of depth. I actually think I prefer the black&white version better right now... at least the contrast is really striking in it, while the colored vers seems more flat in it's current state. Also seems like just a few lines / sharp edges in the right places would make his features stand out better... espec. around the eyes and mouth.

Lemmy - wouldn't know if updating is allowed, but damn the new vers looks great.

nucron, really like the mood & composition of your first one there... something about the poses seems a little off but I can't quite place it... then again I have the same problem except to a greater degree I think.

artecnl, that much expressiveness in 25min is awesome, espec. the left side of his face, nice highlights. The right side seems kinda flat in comparison.. maybe has something to do with his neck looking a little wierd beneath his ear there.

oh yeah, would also like to know the answer to lemmy's question, if editing is allowed? Or if there's no straight rule on it, encouraged/discouraged. Anyway, peace

MoKhatib

moljnir:

I think I saw your post yesterday, just the image kinda didn't show up. but yeah, had a look now, I quite like, the colours look good, I just think you should try to give it a more solid and refined look, that'd push the image a good bit I think =)

MoKhatib: I agree with moljnir, right now the b/w one looks definitely better, but still, can't wait to see the finished colour one =)

Hola, Amigos.
I hope everything is alright. OK. Ximahmoud. Thanks again. Here we go! Here is my second entry. The vampire is Willem Dafoe, one great american actor, in the film “Shadow of the Vampire”, UK/USA/ Luxemburg 2000. Direction: E. Elias Merhige. Another exquisite film of vampires, color, that I recommend to search and to watch. Dafoe plays to Max Schreck (and Nosferatu!), the german actor of “Nosferatu”, the film de Murnau (1922). It’s Really great! I put at my artwork one old movie look with brown and ochre colors.
Corel PhotoPaint 12 and PhotoShop CS. 1 hour, 15 minutes, with mouse.
I hope you like it.

Hi,

nice works so far, I hope I can spare some time to make also one :haha:

@ artecnl #3 a really nice one, i like the mood of the picture "the ecstatic feeling of draining life"

@ crackerlips #5 nice picture from "Redemption" but too close to the original :dunno:

@ rawwad #7 a big one, fast and full of energy. Actually you can feel the beast that wants to break free... great

@ Turoid #10 a nice Nosferatu but you could make more, like nucron said the ears are not fully painted and the eyes too

@ splinter #11 very profesionall, but to long for a speed painting...

@ nucron #14 good, but the pose looks quite odd, maybe I´m wrong but he looks somehow unbalanced

@ w00t #19 like that, especially the third pose... he remembers me of a friend that makes the same

@ Lemmy #32 a beauty... poor knight

@ sicksurfer #35 beautifull, i love her :lurve:

@ HammerCH22 #38 nice for your first one, know the reference
from the musical "Dance of the Vampires" that is an remake of "The Fearless Vampire Killers"

@ Jorel #39 a nice Aristo-Vampire...

@ memod #40 uff what a picture, great!!!

@ Bers #42 huch so that´s what Dracula wears under his red coat...
brrr now it makes sense why Jonathan Harker got grey hair

@ Rusted #46 the mood of the picture gives me creeps... nice one

@ boristone #47 nice picture, the hair is quite sharp, somehow the deph of field is not correct

@ jacket #56 looks like he spends too much time in the fitness center?
anyway a nice picture, needs just a little more colour

@ archi #57 a disturbing picture but nice

@ moljinir #58 a good one, but she could also be a nightelf!? :dunno:

@ ximahmoud #69 nice, found your reference too :smug:

@ waheed #72 ...great

@ art mekanik #78 you are right art... from the distance his eyes give me creeps,
maybe you should convert it to a smaller size!?

@ MoKhatib #78 ...really good, I like the coloured one more...

@ Jessie_Rivers nice style - know the movie... had a quite disturbing end,
but was quite refreshing
at the beginning of the movie they show some beautifull "art nouveau"

ximahmoud
26-05-2006, 11:39 PM
nice one art mekanik..may be you should resize the image ..you shoild stick to a 800 X 600..it's better for all screen resolutions..and the art will still be recognizable.

mokhatib..i like the B&W more..may be if you finished the coloured one i will change my mind but it looks too flat, it needs more depth in the wrinkles areas and also needs to be a little bit sharper in the recognizable area of the face and start to be blury as you go to the other side.

jessie jessie jessie....way to go amigo..very artistic one..well done.. i know the movie, i recognize it right away..

Hey Dudes
What is up with the amazing quality here? Rock on! It so great to see so many talented peeps and such a variety of ideas and work.

I really Like Rawwad's sketchy look and I think his dude just gives me the shivers! Wow

Splinter! Now that looks like a finished painting and your concept rocks!

nucron great mood and lighting in your pose!

WOOt I have a warped sense of humor (hence the teddies) I love your piece!

Mechanic looks like a painting - awesome

Lemmy lemmy lemmy She is awesome!

Hammer good classic that makes me cringe when I look at it. I love the anticipation.

Memod could you get any better with the mood and atmosphere - I think not! WOW!

archi I love the sketchyness of that piece and the whole look of the dude - Looks like something outta blade.

moljinr looks like something outta a fantasy art book - nice work! Awesome use of colour!

ximahm... yup great colour that contrasts well with the dark and the dude just looks mean.

waheed - That is one scary mysterious picture. Awesome!

mokhatib I like the smoothness of your work. Good use of lighting and colour too.

If I have not mentioned you don't be discouraged. All of the work is awesome and I am looing forward to the next challenge and I might try to imitate some of the more sketchy styles here (biggest form of flattery)

Okay, so I've taken the brief comments that were made on board...so here's a full color one, and he's skinny. :)

Painter, tablet j/a/w and lots of blur this time. There's a slightly unfinished look to the hand, but I set myself a time-limit of 50 min, and I'd hit that before I could work the hand up.

The predator vampire, stalking the nightclubs for his drug-blood high. >:)

(incidentally, I like this one more than the first, so this is my nomo'd piece.

@ jacket #98 nice... i like the lights on his shirt or is it a jacket? ;)

@ ximahmoud #99 :D he he... got me! I made the Lineart with pen&paper (actually the Graphire tablett is
not as precise as I would like it to be) and scanned it. I made a Transform - Flip Horizontal
in Photoshop, adjusted the two parts and merged it. Painted the picture and thats it.
Normally I do a lot of LineArt with Pen&Paper because I can do it anywhere; train, vacation, work...
Actually this was my second digital painting... trying to get more experience in it.
If I had just more time for it... :(

its good to have things run in a proper way, so i hope u understand.
a couple of points that have to be cleared and followed by everyone is:
. editing is not allowed.

Hi, Dear Friends.
I fulfill my promise. Here is my third entry (and my votable). The vampire is Klaus Kinski (Nosferatu) and the girl is Isabelle Adjani (Lucy Harker), in the film “Nosferatu, Phantom Der Nacht” (Nosferatu, Phantom of the Night), Germany/France 1978. Direction: Werner Herzog. Color. Another wonderful film about Nosferatu.
My preferences:
1. Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror 1922
2. Shadow of the Vampire, 2000
3. Nosferatu, Phantom of the Night, 1978

I managed to reserve some time for this comp.
This Vampire Guy took my 2 hours. I blocked him out in 30 minutes and used the rest of the time for "details" and photoshop tweaking.

mattot191

I hope this is alright but I am including a smaller size view of this image and a larger one below. Not becuase I think it is so great I have to show it twice but becuase The smaller version better shows my original vision of the idea. I felt the larger one was not conveying what I wanted. The image is meant to work as a whole and does not have as much strength if veiwed in pieces the way you must if you are up to close.

I think this idea is present in all great art. Even those that are rendered with great or realistic detail. The greatest impact always come from the image working as a whole. This is where the real realism comes from. If this is not working it does not matter how much detail there is or how realistic the rendering, the image will just not be as strong.

This is how I work starting very small on the screen and getting the basic lighting design and feel and then slowly going in closer and closer adding more detail. although I did not get to far with the detail for this since I only spent about 45 minutes on it. right now in my development I am not in to adding a lot of detail although I do do it sometimes. I feel I must first get the grasp on conveying the feel of the complete design and then when I learn to do this better then I will start concentrating more on rendering and detail. Right now most of my work are sketches done in an hour or less. I try to get the right feel of the whole working and when I am satisfied with that I move on to the next sketch. The idea is that slowly as my designs start getting better and better the detail will naturally develop.

karsten is really heading for the total taxtures set :) wow very impressive, the dynamic is great. btw, u forgot the "t" in ariste :P

matto cool, i like your style very much. interesting.

and titanium, try coloring next time, or maybe add a bit of contrast. the scenery looks cool and well designed, unfortunately a sketch is only half the way. hope you stick with these challenges in future.

HERE IS THE LARGER VERSION I WAS TALKING ABOUT OF THE IMAGE I PREVIOUSLY POSTED. LIKE I SAID NOT MUCH DETAIL. I DO NOT LIKE TO GO BACK TO WORK, I PREFER TO TRY TO USE WHATS LEARNED IN ONE SKETCH AND APPLY IT TO THE NEXT AND IMPROVE UPON IT. BUT I MAY ADD MORE RENDERING TO THE FACE AND THE BACKGROUND LATER. IT WOULD BE A GOOD EXERCISE.

A LOT OF INTERESTING STUFF GOING ON IN THIS CHALLENGE. HAD FUN WITH THIS ONE.

I LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE.

Okay You Got Me. I Was Inspired By The Matrix Poster For This One.
But Really We Would Get No Where If Everyone Did Not Learn From Everyone Else. Every Artist Is Referencing (conciously Or Unconciously) What Has Inspired Them Before. (JOHN SINGER SARGENT OPENLY ADMITTED HE GOT A LOT OF HIS STYLE FROM VELASQUEZ) And Really This Is The Best Way To Learn. I Would Like To Think I Know It All Right From The Beginning( And Sometimes I Feel If I Don't Then Maybe I Am Just Not Any Good) But I Would Just Be Wrong. And If I Tried To Just Come Up With Only My Own Ideas Not Looking At What Is Around Me I Would Get Nowhere.

I Use The Matrix ( And Many Other Movies) To Help Me Visualize (give Me Ideas On How To Light The Face And Such). But The Vision I Have In My Mind Is Something Far Different From The Reference I Am Using As A Guide. But My Vision Is Still Not Totally Clear Yet. I Have To Take Bits And Pieces Of Everything Around Me To Help Me Piece Together My Own Vision. I Would Be A Fool Not To Learn From The Great Things That Others Have Already Done. And Then Hopefully One Day When I Get Good Enough I Will Be Able To Finally Figure Out The Vision That I Have In My Head And Convey It Just As I Would Like.

Hi, Friends.
Best for all.
Rusted: Thanks for your comment. By the Way, I like your entry Nº 116. Well done. The watercolor style is insuperable. I think it’s your best entry in this challenge. But don’t listen to me. The decision is yours.
Ximahmoud: Thanks for your comments. I value your comments very much. I will take into account next time.
Pehrson: I am grateful for your comment. I had thought in that before. But I had a dilemma. The Nosferatu's right claw would cover up the girl’s face. On the other hand, the left claw creates an aerial perspective sense forward the spectator. You’re Welcome.

My votes and congratulations:
Nº 1. Rawwad # 7
Nº 2. Memod #40
Nº 3. Rusted # 46

Honorary mention (without order):
Rusted # 46
Art mekanik # 77
Rico # 108
Kankatoris # 109
Karsten # 122
Matto191 # 127

here's an example why it's so important to say which one of the entries counts for vote. GUYS PLZ YOU HAVE TO SAY WHICH ONE IS THE FINAL ENTRY. as people tend to post more pics, there's always confusion, and the results often turn out wrong. as each participant should have equal odds it wouldn't be fair to favor somebody who has time for 3 entries over others who only find time to paint one.

so dodo_dodan, each participant can only get one vote, as only one entry of them counts for these challenges. csc didn't mention which one is his final though... :(

hope this is going to work in future challenges, cya there.
