I was bored today so i decided to model the place where my mom works.I am modeling this from memory because i havent gotten up to go take pics of the building. I am not sure if i am going to model the interior though.
Here is what i have so far i have the basic shape of the building and the sign done. I haven't gone to add little details yet. By the way this is the first model of a building of some sort i have ever made.

Does any body know any good material setting for transparent windows

10% tranparency, 90% reflective. They're really simple. You could use a slight gradient in the refraction slot to give an effect of a rainbow or something (like a prism).
I always use two double sided planes put close together, as this gives an unfaked effect of thickness.

I'm not too good with textures.But this doesnt look like a window when i render lol.

Updates:i connected the sign to the building.added window frame thingies and made the right wall at a slant.(the building was actually made that way)

If this model turns out well I just might Model all the buildings that are on the same block as this restaurant.I'll model the sidewalk too and maybe the parking meters.
