problems with uninstalling plugin(s) for 3dsmax7

i recently downloaded a free rendering plugin called Amaretto but I didn't find it that useful... then I decided to remove it, and I uninstalled the plugin using window's "add/remove programs"... but now everytime I start 3dsmax, I get a series of warnings informing me that amaretto is not installed properly and that I should reinstall (I dunno if they want me to reinstall max or Amaretto... anyway both options are out of the question because I don't want to reinstall every single plugin with a newly reinstalled Max). I checked my plugin manager and Amaretto is still there even though I uninstalled it from my computer and I dunno how to remove it from max...

can anybody help me?

I havent used the Gelato/Amaretto, but when the error comes up its just some file some place in your /3dsmax directory. I dont know what all it installed but if you hunt and poke you can probably find the file thats still calling for the plugin.

hmm, I didn't find any file with a name that suggest would relate to Gelato/Amaretto... but now it could be hidden somewhere under a random name... damned plugin!
