3D Max Modeller - Buildings

Our company, 3Vista located in Canada is looking to hire some additional modelers as we have become extremely busy and are actually loosing potential business/money. We sale our product as a marketing tool for homebuilders. We currently have signed out two of the biggest builders in Canada. Of course they need things done quickly and only have two people with knowledge of 3D in our company at the present moment we are looking to outsource on a contract basis. If you are able to complete the tasks at hand within set deadlines and quality, additional work will be headed your way.

Basically I will explain the process of what we do.

From a 2D AutoCAD file we take homebuilders floor plans and build them to scale in 3D Max. From there we fully texture and light each home whether it be an exterior or interior. We then do baking or environment rendering and reapply our "baked" textures to the model and from there we send it over to the programming team. They will then take the model and toss it in our actual product where it is live a video game, giving people the chance to walk through the homes at their own pace, etc.

That was a rough overview, in order for our product to work we would need models completed with low polygon count, yet still detail. We use extruding as much as possible as it seems to work the best in out engine. If interested please state the following below

We have more projects coming up
Here is how the process would work

We would give you floor plans in Auto cad of a home model that our clients need built.

You would need to create the respective home model out to scale

From there you would eventually light and texture it. Add furniture and then "bake the model" or do an environmental render of it reapplying the newly created textures that has the lights baked into them.

However we have a few things we need to know before we move forward. Are you able to keep things low polygon? as this is really important, as we are not a fancy image rendering company. We are an interactive 3D company, meaning we take homebuilders floor plans model them and enable the user to
virtual walk through out the home. This is where reading floor plans from Autocad is a must. If you cannot do this then please do not respond.
