About brazil r/s 1.0

I wanted to get brazil r/s 1.0, so i went to their website but the only download I saw was "brazil r/s public test"... I wanted to download brazil r/s 1.0 for free, but i am not sure if "brazil r/s public test" is free, and i do NOT want a trial version, i want the real thing. I would like to find out if "brazil r/s public test" is free, and also i want to know if it is a trial or not.

If anyone can tell me if i can download brazil r/s 1.0 on their website for free, (again, i do not want a trial) i would really appreciate it.

Brazil R/S Public is as the name says freely downloadable, but it has it's exceptions.

Brazil R/S 1.0 costs a whoopy 1200$ and I just read on their site that these ***** want to sell it in some time for 1500 $. :mad:

Brazil is expensive, but well worth it.
Just download it and then make your images at least 200pixels bigger and crop their watermark out. (I have the full thing, but i am just saying that is a possibility)

honestly, I think you should stick with MAX STANDARD right now, learn lights and all that junk with max, then do the switch, there is no USE in buying HIGH-END SOFTWARE when you dont know even the basic fundamentals.

lockdown is right. i think its more important to know lighting well with the scanline than it is with brazil. anyhow if you're using max 5 you already have a built in hi end renderer. i've done a cursory examination of max 5's new gi/radiosity renderer and its quite good. you can always learn that as well and be just as well versed as if you had brazil, after all the concepts behind all of it are the same.

Yeah, just use max scaline for now. I'm not saying that this is the case, but a high end rendere cannot make bad work good. You can produce great renders just fine with what max already has. also, if you had actually clicked on the link for Brazil r/s Public test, you would have discovered that they had taken it down. The public test is a beta version, somewhere around 0.5 I think, and has some problems. The features it has that max scaline does not have, such as caustics, are not even in the public test.
