Hi all,

Anyone have any idea why Biped key-frames are sometimes immovable? I can't seem to find anything about it in the manual..

Cheers,

Ben:D

How do you mean? Can you explain further?

It just seems that, when using Bipeds, the key-frames are sometimes completely accessable and alterable (if that's a word :o ) in the time line and other times you can't move them at all. I get the stuff about 'not allowing keys on the same track to pass eachother' and all that, but this problem seems to come up completely at random..

I've not found any sort of rule that determines why this is..

Are you using freeform animation or those evil footsteps? I've noticed that occasionally while using freeform animation sometimes a key or two snaps back to the original key frame after I've tried to move it. I'm not sure but I think it may have something to do with separating the tracks, for example the spine. When this happens I just use the copy and paste functions instead of moving the key.

cool, well I'll try that next time. It's a bit funny like that, character studio.. I love it but it seems to have a mind of its own sometimes!

Nice one Jenn, thanks for the tip!
