Well here is an interesting idea I just though of. Okay, you know how Brazil can render buckets of a frame on different CPUs, save them to different files, and assemble them later? Well what if I'm rendering something on my machine that will take a very long time and I might want to be able to stop the rendering and resume it some other time. Can I have Brazil save the buckets it is rendering on my sinlge proc unit to seperate files as they finish, and then stop and close the program when it isn't finished with all of them, and then start it up and resume where it left off? Yeah, I know I can pause it and all, but what if I have a power outage which would obviously force me to restart the program? What if I want to play a game and need to kill the program to free up ram? What about that?? HUH!?!?!?? :)

Yes you can save the buckets and also you allways can add a proccesor to your machine.....I got 4 ;)

Damn!!
You must have some dough to get 4 Xeons. What speed are they? What kind of rendertimes does that mutha get?

Well you answered part of my question. The other thing I wanted to know is if you can resume a rendering from a specific bucket. If I have a scene split into 30 buckets and I've rendered the first 8, can I resume from number 9?
