I dont understand, but illl give my best shot(s) :)
Maybe you think of attach, but it's not a modifyer; maybe it's extrude; maybe loft compound object, but it's not modifyer to;maybe it's shell...
Explain it better, it could be lots of thigs. give examle if u cant explain better.

I dont know how to explain this...
but it's function is look like loft, but its not...
for example you get an vertical and simple line, and a horizontal circle line
using this modifier or tool (i dont remmember, i think it's a modifier) you get an cilynder...
better now?

aha...
You think about loft. :)

Select your circle, go to compound object, click on loft, and within loft properties clik on pick , then select your line.

@Craccado
De si bre ti, nema te sto godina i onda spamujes :)

edit: now I see you did not mean loftting...
But, why dont you tell us what exactly you wish to do with your objects?

Bug, I would suggest you to use sweep modifyer. It's easyer to use than loft, it IS a modifyer, and you lose just deform features. Since sweep came out (with max 8) i dont use loft at all, almost.
Bye :wave:
