I got bored of some older projects and thought I'd start something new in high poly. It's an automatic rifle that I drew and scanned one day.

Well I'm a gun nut as you can see from my thread above yours(for now) this is fantastic I'm loving the design, only thing i'm not really liking is that clip but that's imo so keep it up.

Yah i agree. Its coming along awesome so far, but i think the way the magazine bends it kinda odd.\

Edit: I also just noticed that the stock doesnt look like it would be that comfortable. Just some things to think about. Keep up the good work!

Yeah the stock needs to be bent a bit more to accomodate the curves in your shoulder, but otherwise, neat :P I think it could stand some more details though, like a safety, fire select, mag release, bolt, bolt release, sights, sight knobs for adjust. Stuff like that.

Thanks for the comments. Ill think of a way to fix the stock and try some different magazine combinations.

Jedi: Im planning on doing that stuff soon. Im just trying to get the basic structure to a level that im happy with :D all in good time.

modelling looks good so far, nice and clean.

one suggestion for the folding stock though: when its folded, it makes you unable to reach the trigger group, not sure if its intended, but afaik automatic rifles can be fired with the stock folded, too

The stock doesn't allow for right hand shooting when it is folded. Weapons of this sort must still allow the hand into the pistal grip, but yurs covers the trigger flush with the side......

Actually there is about 1 - 2 finger widths between the folded stock and gun. Ill extend it once i have time. Ill have to wait for the weekend because school leaves me with no time.

Here is a quick sniper conversion, borrowed the bipod from my m24 and added a smaller sniper rifle like magazine.
Ill add a little bit more detail and maybe make a few more conversions eg. " "commando" grenade launcher ect. if possible.
