Was this made in Blender then? Nice job!

You might want to drum that up: we don't get a lot of attention out here in blenderland from the rest of the CG community, and this work shows the power of the package. Especially the images you posted to elYsiun!

It's been a while since I have seen Akira, I assume the affects in 3d would look awsome, but what's his names face was much rounder and had much less defined features.
Don't get me wrong it is a very well make model. I suppose you could just blame it on puberty?
On a side note, the actual character of akira was very underdevoloped, merely the hazey concept of him exhisted throughout the movie, so if yah do make a 2 try to develope him better. Also as he is not merely infinite power, but knoledge as well, (I think), being seen as purely destructive seems a bit off.
