Is any one help me in realistic pillar blast using 3ds max8.
i.e a pillar exploding you mean?
I'd personally use the P-Array set up to use the Pillar as the object to blow up, add a gravity space warp, attach this to it, and then modify. After setting the start time, and how to explode it etc, it should look really good, and the bits should fall realistically too.
You can maybe also add a Deflector on the floor also to stop the particles from then falling through the floor after hitting the ground. So, you could have some fun with that.

Meanwhile, you could use a physical simulation using fracture built into the program as a type of warp for Reactor, but I wouldn't know how to help with this I'm afraid.
