This is a personal work that I've done almost 1 year ago but had no chance to work on the rendering untill now. I have a small plastic model of it so I wanted to give this piece also a kind of plastic look. Modeling is done in Softimage|XSI and rendering in 3ds Max using Vray. And finally some final color touchups in Photoshop..

Very nice models!! I personally think the ground you placed them on is not a fitting style. The expressions are great too!!

Really nice character modelling, but I agree it does appear to be a little too shiny like a ceramic figurine.
This style does suit the render!

Thanks for the replys and my intention was to make it look like that. Her are some new renders of the back and a wireframe of the model.
