View Full Version : Ambient Occlusion using VRayDirt

Hai friends,

Here I'll show u how to render an occlusion pass using VRaydirt shader.
(Works with VRay 1.5 or later)

Create a simple scene.

Open the VRay Render Settings.>> Global Switches >> Override Material
and choose "VRaylight Mtl".

Drag it to the Material Editor and choose Instance.

For the Texture map, Choose "VRayDirt" map

Adjust the distribution value to 1.0 or above and increase the radius also. & Render :)

Tweak the other values for ur own need.

I haven't "VRayDirt" in my map browser, there is only a "VRayMap" :l ...?!

If you don't have Vray 1.5 or later, this won't work.

I have 1.47, so can't take use of this :(
