Hi, my name is Jackie. Below is my recent test rendering. Please give me some advise. Thank you.

rendering with 3ds MAX 6 + Radiosity

Nice clean living room, but I feel that the light on the ceiling is not very reallistic.

in your avatar looks more real i think your lights have too mutch intensity

sonkite, i am not sure. i am using photometric light, and it shown 2700ml. is it too bright? how much should i lower it?

render is not too bad , with some changes it`ll be good ! but put u see the wall-floor line ! it`s not real !

I think that the room is too bright for the amount of light sources. As far as i can tell the only light sources are the light on the roof and the television. The television sees to have the light source behind it and the actual screen itself isnt producing light. The side lights are not on either.

I like the brightness of the image but as others have said you need to work on the lighting. My advice would be to decrease the intensity even more, in other words decrease the level of brightness. Add more sources of light (by 'turning on' the lights on the wall, making television image emit light too) and make them more subtle.

Yes, you are right, i need more pratice on lighting skill and this is the reason i'm here too.
In this image, i did put photometric to the ceiling light tough, square downlight and have put the self-illuminate and emit light effect to the TV screen too. but dont know why after doing the calculation of radiosity, it become the effect like what you see now.

I have turn on the 5 wall-lights, but the image is too dark. why?
