What the.. Can't delete objects?

I've been testing 3dsmax5 for a couple of days, and now suddenly I noticed I couldn't delete any objects with the delete key on the keyboard. Extremely strange. And then i noticed the ctrl+z (undo) didn't work either. It all works if I go to the edit/delete menu, but the buttons just won't work. And I couldn't even bind the delete key to delete in customize user interface. Gah! Is this some kind of bug or have I made som wierd setting or something?

Btw, there's nothing wrong with my keyboard, the delete key even works in 3smax when naming objects and stuff. HEEEEEELP!!! :)

Never mind, it works again.

That's one damn strange bug though. I even tried 3dsmax3 but it didn't work there either so I made a panic reboot, and after that everything worked like a charm.
