Here's my weird animation, very much a work in progress, but not coming out well enough to be completed (on to bigger and better things... like WAR!). I put an explanation of how this strange thing came about in the other thread, for the curious.
Nice entries everyone, good job (Kuriouz, where are you? Yours rocks!). Diabolos and BiG ToE, your character selection is great as always!

Hi guys will post mine once i get home. I still have to upload the final file.
I haven't done anything further on it so you guys have already seen most of it. I've been sick on friday and most of the weekend. I've managed to catch a cold of somesort despite of the hot weather

Anyway if it is too late to post anything up here is the link which you guys have already seen:

Here is the updated link (with the hop included) and the graph editor pic.

As mentioned earlier, I haven't added anything further to it so you've seen it all before. Anyway still feeling somewhat sick-ish, so i'm going to take another good long nap/rest.

1. Diabolos - Really don't know why, but I couldn't stop watching it! :p

Thanks for the tip arneogg. My computer is abit slow, so it stuffs up/slows the music abit and I have to kinda guess where the main beats are. oh well, will do better next time!

1. Diabolos - overall pretty good. the footing is abit 'flat' and the hands needs some movement (yep fix those hand rigs)
2. Dereksc - hmm interesting moves ... maybe every thing is just abit too even? i would like to see what could have been done if you had more time.
3. Arneogg - I think the movements are too quick. I'm sure you were trying to match the movement to the beat (well you certainly did a better job than i did! ) but it all looks kinda unnaturally quick.
4. BT - haha actually this was actually quite funny. I'm sure if you had more time, this would have been something really great.

Anyway, sorry guys if i sound like a nagging mother goose hen. ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone. Some of it relied on the arms, which didn't get done, and some of it I just ended up doing ass-backwards (and having to fix), hence some of the under-activity. Getting my mind wrapped around my War character, but will still try to do better in the next animation comp.

Everyone did some fun stuff for this one, lots of fun to watch! Great job, keep it up.
1st: Kuriouz - I keep going back to it, lots of attitude, good music selection, great work on the animation!
2nd: Diabolos - nice work on the hips, cape, and shoulders, lots of fun to watch.
3rd: Arneoog - lots of interesting stuff, maybe just needs to be smoothed out in the graph editor a bit, but really liked it.
Honorable Mention: BiG ToE - considering all the things you're working on right now, I'm surprised you came out with something that keeps to the rythm that well, good job!

Once again, great job everyone!

1 | Kuriouz | Very nice anim; I liked the little hop/jump at the end. ;P
2 | DerekSc | For what you were able to get done, it was very smooth. Nice job. :D If you continue to work on it, I'd be keen to see how you tie in the arm and upper body movements as well. (Awesome music by the way :P)
3 | Diabolos | The foot positions and movements were pretty nice. It kinda felt a little 'forced', though, but I'd imagine animating a dance like that would be pretty difficult. Perhaps next time try to loosen up his arms, so they're not out to his side the entire time like that. Great job though, to everyone!

I figure I'd post my dance move anyway, even though I didn't finish.

Now that my project for school is over (which I'll post in the animation forum, btw), I'll have more time to work on animating here. ;D

just sit around the house, watch tv, and then take what you see on tv and slow it down.
