Working on my concept painting - the automaton of death will arrive tomorrow night - just blocking in some basic anatomy. As you can see, "Death from Above"............

Here we go - I am pretty happy with this version - I will get him painted up and then onto modeling.... left is pencil n' ink - right is vectorized.

Lookin' dangerous, the foot design works really well too. I take it he can fly?

Thanks, yes he can fly and he has a cloaking feature Death from above invisible style.

Ok Guys, I have him painted (3DTotal color scheme) and now onto modeling.

:wall: Oh man - I like started 3 times - how the heck to you know when to stop before you run out........

I am trying this for one side

Head - 500
Torso - 500
Arm - 500
Leg - 500

That should give me an extra 1000 tris for detailing and when I mirror (i like to add a secondary loop next to the mirrored edge.

Back to the lab........go sign up if you have not already....

Before you run out of tri's? If so then I know what you mean.. I just made the legs of a test robot and I'm already over.. gotta practice a little more before I start.

looking good, me to like your logo!
and you should conisider making the head the most detail(tris), since that is where the focus tend to be,atleast at first glance..

Here is my start on the head, I have roughly 150 tris to go (more if I need them, but I am trying to set goals for myself)........

Ok, I'm staying within my own limit - I guess the fourth try is better than the third in this case.

changed the head a bit as well - not happy with the feet - I think I will give him normal boots.
