mim - Very nice. It really looks like you traced them ;) I cant believe that only took you 20 min
Moljinir, i like that a lot, very dramatic. I'm going on vacation this weekend then to a conference for work, so i dont know if i'll have time to work on anything, but i was planning on doing something similar (space dog fight). Keep up the good work.
M_Cederstrom - I'm not really an "artist", but I would like to offer some constructive criticism for you (that I've heard others say on older posts). Your edges are all too soft and colors are "flat" (all shades of gray and diffuse light source [no hard light, everything shaded like its on in a well-lit white room]), and everything kind of blends together, so your image looks blurry and flat. You might want to try and get some more contrast in there, and create some hard edges....this will make the image stand out a lot more. Something I have to force myself to do (and still dont do very well), is not be afraid of using very different colors and shades of colors on the same object to create depth. (for instance, look at moljinir's jets. notice how the front of the wings on the jet in the lower right are mostly grey-brown, and then theres a quick change to a hard, yellowish line in the front to simulate sunlight). I know this has helped me out a lot. Keep it up! (PS - Some of this is long winded sorry. If you want me to clarify, just PM me :) )
