I just recently have gotten into the 3D world and I love it! I haven't messed around with lighting too much and need a little help with it.

Is there a tutorial that explains what Volume Light is and how to use it in a scene in 3DS Max?

Yes there is! And Loads of them..... I'd recomennd that you begin with searching the "user refrance" in Max:

"Help\User Refrence..."

Then you will find a lot of tutorials on the subject on the net
Simply search google for "3ds Max Volume Light tutorial"

Thanks! I will have to try the internet again cause I really wasn't finding many good examples that I could apply to what I am creating.
