As you wave me goodbeye!
This utterly irrelavant post exists in fuction purely for me to vent my excitement to the world at large:D
In 44 minutes and 31 secs, I am going to walk down the corridor to my Area manager's office, where I work as a Financial Advisor, And I am going to hand him my letter of resignation!
Why? Well, When someone dear to me died recently, I discovered anew that to spend 2/3 of your life not loving what you do just for the sake of the money is insanity!
So, with the support of my loving wife and family I am leaving my current employment and related security to work full time on my Reel!
I will be without Internet for a while but when I get back on I will have some WIPs to show.
So wish me luck and I will speak to you all again soon.

good luck man,
i'm glad you're gonna pursue something that makes you happy.
its always scary to leave what's secure and try to do something that you really want. i had a lot of pressure from my family after i graduated college to go to medical school and continue on the path of biology major, but all i wanted to do was work in the cg industry. it was tough to make that decision. well once again good luck to you, keep us updated.

Best of Luck bud. I'm sorry that it took the event mentioned to spur this change, but I wish you all the best. I may be doing something similar myself soon...

Good luck to you indeed. I guess you will have put your plan in motion by this time and therefore will not be able to read this until you get internet access again... in fact... you may NEVER read this! I might be wasting my time! Oh, my! What a world this is! Well, I might as well make the best of it...
As I am only seven days away from my twentieth burthday, I'll just pretend that I am twenty already.
My Memoirs: As I am only twenty, I really have no reason to begin writing my memoirs save for trying to make this post have some reason to exist, since I have discovered that the person this post was originally intended for will never actually read it. Wait a minute, that's not what he said. That was just a big fat assumption I made. What's wrong with me? Look, I'm wasting more time! Ahh!
My Post: Uh... to avoid being reduntent, I will refer you to the beginning of this post where I first said, "Good luck to you indeed." Hmm... does quoting something I said count as redundency?
"I am mad, you know."

Hello everybody.
Thank you all for the kind words and good wishes.
Well, I moved to Johannesburg and started working on my reel full time as was planned. Then I got horribly sidetracked doing multimedia presentations in Director.
Well, its not 3d, but it pays for my addictions and allows me time to still work on my reel, and is sure as hell a lot better than selling insurance!:D
I have summing (http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=71465#post71465) in the wips for y'all to look at so long.
Keep well.

D'oh! I missed your first post! So a belated Good Luck man!!! Glad things are looking up for ya. I also had a very close firend die on me recently, so I stopped smoking. It's been 3 weeks now, and it's been so easy. I think it's good to get something positive outta death. :) I hope when my time comes it will inspire someone else to really live.
Anyway, good to see you again. :ufo:

Thank you. It's good to be back!:D
Monte: I am sorry for your loss man. I am glad to hear you quit the stuff again. I quit again as well going on 6 months now, outgrew the stuff, I KNOW you can do it!
I would also like to better someones life with my death, but I'd way-much-more like to do it while alive, that way you can do it whenever you feel like it.
Death is such a once-off afair.;)
Good Luck!
