Hey guys, didn't know were to put this question but ahwel

I want to get into animation, i'm going overseas for a while then coming back and going to a school for it. I was wondering if it'd be possible to practise while i'm overseas or would it be too expensive for the programs etc.

And also wondering how old everyone was when they first started getting into it, how long you've been doing it and what jobs you have now??

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Conor.

Autodesk do free versions of both 3dsmax and Maya.
I the 3dsmax trial version is time limited but the Maya Personal Learning Edition isn't time limited so maybe that would be a better option.
Maxon also do a trial version of Cinema 4D.

Here are some links.

Cinema 4D: http://www.maxon.net/pages/products/cinema4d/cinema4d_e.html

Hope this helps.
