Here's something I feel slows me down a lot and I'm curious if there's a better way to do it.
Let's say you make a box. Then you decide you want to type in the dimensions. So you go over to the parameters and you enter your length, width, and height. Now you want to change back to the move tool- or you want to change the viewport- but your cursor is still in the input box, so typing "p" for the perspective window or "w" for the move tool, won't work because it'll type the value into the box. So you have to actually click in your viewport, or on the tool you want or something.
Is there a shortcut to deselect the input box?
This seems to happen a lot and I end up typing shortcuts into the parameters before realizing it, then I have to repeat myself after I click out of the box :wall:
Does that make sense to anyone? Any advice?
Thanks!

actually it dosen`t make sence:)
because if there is a deselect hotkey then your actually adding a step which means more time lost:)
but anyways....to deselect the input box after inputting your final number hit the escape key,it takes you back to your current viewport.

Awesome! That's exactly what I wanted to do. I never ever use the main toolbar- so going for the tools up there doesn't come naturally. I don't want to click off in a viewport and risk deselecting my object. I don't want to right click because the quad menu comes up and it is annoying. And I don't like clicking in an empty area of the command panel, because it seems to be very touchy about where you can and can't click. So this is perfect for me. Thanks!
