Ingres WIP

Hi, I just thought I'd post a master copy I started over on cgtalk some time ago, which I didn't manage to finish for the deadline. Since I have over 40 screenshots already posted on my WIP thread on cgtalk instead of reposting all of them here's the link to the thread if anyone is interested in seeing the process. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=31&t=460167
It's still missing some steps but it's almost done, I hope to finish it in the next few days. Any suggestions or crits are welcome, thanks for looking! Software is Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom.

friggin awesome. My only critic is the bald line in the center of her head, which looks strange. Apart from that, It's gold.

Well, can't say I can crit anything since this is wip and some of the things I notice will surely be corected in the next stages. For one I wonder if you'll place highlights in the eyes. This looks very... victorian and the period paintings kindda tend to ignore the highlights in the eyes giving to the face a cold and melancolic expression which was in vogue back then. Will you repeat that or you'll bring life to her eyes?
She looks very gracefull and I must say I'll keep an eye on this thread for updates.

I think you're definitely right about the eyes, they do look very melancholy, not that I mind, but I probably should have given them more reflections. To be honest I kind of got nauseous of the painting after awhile, and I just thought I'd leave it since it's just a copy anyhow.
I am not satisfied 100% but hey it was awesome practice!! :D

Wonderfull. If I may observe something is the lack of highlights on her forearms and hands comparing with the highlights on her shoulders. Otherwise, awsome execution Vivien. Nicely done.
