Problem with vase texture.

Well i made this scene just to test out Brazil. The thing is that the whole vase looks kinda weird. Because in the middle of the vase there is a line and you can see the textures don't match. What i want to know is how i can fix that line in the middle of the vase.

Texture?, what texture? :p What you have there seems like smoothing groups problems, make sure that the smoothing of the vase is a single one.
On the other hand it could be a strange refraction... could be.

What really looks weird is the base; all those lines looks funny.

Try moving your vase "slightly up" so that it does not touch to ground..
