animation of flexible tubes

Hi,
I would like to animate flexible tubes. Here you see the tubes attached at the head. (Of course it's wip) So if the head moves or turns, the tubes should follow and swing after.

in max there is a flex modifier that kinda does what you're looking for, check it out in the help file, its not as good as doin a simulation but it might get you by with minimal hassles
