This is my latest school project. It was a very simple design brief; design a personal entertainment device. After looking at many examples, I finally designed something of a mix between an iPod and a PSP. I chose Sony as a brand simply so I could use the XMB interface.
I started with a concept/blueprint.

Since it is a school project I have to do most of the work at school, and since they are using an earlier version of Max I can't easily swap between the two programs.
After modelling in Max 5.1 for three hours, I have reached this far (rendered with Max 9 and Mental Ray)

There is a slight error to the left of the headphone port which is from my first attempt at the hold button. Since this is the most complicated thing I've attempted to model thus far, C & C would be very helpful and some ideas to tackle some of the more complicated bit would be great; such as the 400+ holes I have to create for the speakers.
