This is a simple scene, a plane and some grass strands created using Advanced Painter in 3dsmax 5.1
When i render it using the illustrate! 5.2 plugin i get funny lines on the plane. Does anyone know how i can get rid of them.
The go away when i disable "intersecting surfaces with all other objects" in the render. But then I lose all lines in places where object intersect, and i don't want that!

Does anyone know what i should do?

Is that a logo for Advanced Painter

or is a demo :p

Well i think it is some polys there .. It gets that way when i use ink paint too

well i'm using an expired demo version of illustrate! hence the watermark.

i don't think they are polys since i can't find any in my wireframe views. And they don't show up in the selection list.

I don't like ink 'n paint cause the outlines don't look as good as in illustrate!

Maybe it's something created by the advanced painter but i haven't found it yet...

I'm pretty shure the lines were there before the demo version expired.
illustrate embeds the watermark when it has expired, and does something to the lighting too, i think.
I'm planning on buying the plugin, but since i not yet arrived to the texturing part i can use the expired demo to check its reaction on the mesh.
