Hi all,

my first post here :D

well 2 week ago I decided to begin a new small project. The one of making a small scene of a train station. After I finished it, a guy named @ndy (a well known guy of the elysiun.com community) decided to make some postwork on it using Corel Photopaint.

Here what he add/change-->
- added some cracks and dirt
- new textures
- added smoke/ steam
- changed the color from blue to yellow/ brown
- new "volumetric lights"
- some slight DOF
- a bit grain
- more tubes and wires

so without talking more, here's the pics

800x600 (http://artificial3d.com/images/TTSwallpaper_remix800x600.jpg)

1024x768 (http://artificial3d.com/images/TTSwallpaper_remix1024x768.jpg)

1280x1024 (http://artificial3d.com/images/TTSwallpaper_remix1280x1024.jpg)

1600x1200 (http://artificial3d.com/images/TTSwallpaper_remix1600x1200.jpg)

I hope you like it.

Let me know your comments!! :D

Edit: i used Blender 3d for modelling and rendering. the scene approximatly have 600 000polies. ;)

Really cool man. And it was done in blender, thats a plus. I tried learning blender but never really learned it.

I like how everything is really the same color.

uhmm does that mean you think that blender is really really hard to use..and it's ****? so due the to the quality of the pic you think I made some sort of miracle???? Hope I misunderstood your sentence..if I understood it correctly...tghen you should visit elysiun.com (http://www.elysiun.com) because there are lots of very good pic!!!

And blender is very easy to use...after a week or two of hard learning you could know almost all the command...or at least you'll know every basic command....Blender is the faster modeller I've seen in my life (in comparison to 3dsmax, maya etc..)

I really recommend to everybody to try to learn this prog...cause even if it lack some option (i.e raytracer..but even that we have an external renderer called yafray) it's, in my opinion, the best 3d program out there...and it's free!!!!

Well this is what I ment.

I downloaded blender and it was hard for me to understand how to do anything complex in it. I know its good. I see these people at elysiun and they have almost perfect scenes and I want to shot myself because I couldn't even make a coke bottle in that program. I bet it was because I was used to Max.

Sorry if I offended you.

well...I was a bit tired yesterday so excuse me for that reply...

anyway, I think blender is one of the prog with the biggest number of online tutorial. So if you want to learn it, go on google.com and type: Blender 3d tutorial
or go to elysiun.com and then in the Question and answer forum and there you'll see a complete list of all the tutorial.

I know that at first all those hotkey and all can be confusing...but after you know them blender is really easy to use ;)

Ex:
G: Move object/poit
e: Extrude
R: rotate
S: resize
etc...

Hope you try it one day ;)
