Back-up after 4 days, many apologies

Hi All,

Just want to say sorry for the extended downtime, I was working very hard throughout trying to get things back asap but had quite a few unforseen problems.

Now we are back on the new super fast server, we will get on with upgrading, installing some mods and new features asap. I will list what we plan to do here in the next few days.

The forums will now perminantly reside at http://forums.3dtotal.com and we will also start to tie them in more with the main site.

Congratulations for the move to the new servers! I hope everything will turn out just fine. What I'm hoping you can solve is the time issue, I've repeatedly set GMT+2 for my settings, but it's some random other time that appears ( like now, for me it's 9:30 PM, but Threedy tells me it's 8:22 PM, and my GMT settings are at +2 ).

Will forums.3dtotal.com still redirect to forums.3dtotal.com or is it only temporary?

Thanks for the comments guys, they do seem to be running very well so far, we will look into the time issue, thanks for the shout and can everyone else please post any bugs they notice here.

A little bug. When you click on the pyramid to the left of the header, it redirects me to a page congratulating me how well Apache is working on my cPanel® and WHM™ Server. :crazy:

Just one minor problem but quite annoying actually. I receive forum notifications but links still point to good ole www.threedy.com. This means if I click on the link in the notification email, it first goes to threedy.com and then redirects me to the forum's homepage.

It says that there are 24 members and 200 guests online, but doesn't show anything on the sections. No one's viewing anything, or there's only 1 or 2 here and there. It's been like this for 2-3 days.

You need to update your signature links to the new forums.3dtotal.com/blah-blah design, but that's not too much of a problem. What's really sad is that all the old attachments are gone.

Sorry To Say, but that makes 2 of us. Which is a shame because I always liked getting thread notifications through, it meant sadly that I got alot more mail than I get usually (no friends for CG boo hoo).

But yeah, I hope this tiny problem can get sorted soon.

Other than that the website is fantastic and very very fast :)

You can quote more than one message at a time! (or one massage more than one time!!! :D (kiddin!))
just click on "Multi-Quote" buttons on postes you wonna quote(them become red), then hit the quote button! It works fine!

Most of these came with the latest version which we just upgraded too, added in some extra mods like you can see who has visited today on the main page and also separated out stickies and normal threads, RSS is here too for all the latest posts from all forums in one view.

We have lots more in the pipeline, awards system is being tested right now, to give you nice little icons under your avatars for when you get a place in the challenges!
