Hi Guys,

I just finished a couple of images about elephants,

the elephs was modelled in Maya 4.5 and rendered with Mentalray and composited into the live environment in Shake

so what do you think,

The elephants look fine but in the second image I think the proportions are wrong, the elephants seem too small compared to the trees. Maybe it's just me.

absolutely excellent! I had already seen these on 'another forum' :)

I saw the grey shaded one perhaps you could post a wire?

How did you get that criss cross pattern on the skin? Just free hand painting?

The texture is really good and the compositing of the fist image too. Really good !

That first one looks real...

The second one looks just a little staged though...maybe it's the trees, maybe it's the lighting...not sure.

The elephant model looks stunning, though I agree about the second image proportions. The elephants seem very small in that pic. Also the colors seem a bit washed out.

Still, great modelling and texturing!

Wow, they look really uh... real:D Very good work on the textures. Thought the shadows in the first one look a little dark but its fine.
