nice tutorial. although im not that good in photoshop i dare to mention some points that came to my mind:
1. half of your tutorial is about how to make a grid. i think people who like to draw portraits should be advanced enough (in photoshop or paint) to know how to do.
2. more detailled information on the use of different brushes or other tools you used could be helpfull
3. what i like in your tut it that it is easy to read and to understand the basics of what is important when drawing portraits. i think i learned a bit from reading it. thanks.

keep up the work and have fun

thanks for the comments. You had some good ideas.

I divided the tutorial into two tutorials and added more details about brushes
and proportions.
