Hello all members, I have not visited here in a long time but it looks like things are still as good as ever!

I am embarking on a new journey, I am going to be creating a FPS game that I want some members imput on. As the game progresses I will be posting shots here. But the fact is, I cannot make it work on my own. I need some team members who can help out and of course get a cut of whatever $ the game brings in.

Let me first start with what positions I need, that way you dont waste your time reading my thread only to find out your position is not currently needed.

I may bring in more positions if I cant handle the rest, but I believe I can.

So you all know, and so the game progress goes quickly, we will be using the FPS Creator as the engine for this game, all the weapons and props can be used by this engine quite easily, and I think it would be a good starting point that we could later take to next gen with a really good goal.

Ok, so here is the story line, basically its Sci-Fi in that the characters are much like halo. They are super human you could say, it takes more then just one bullet to nock you down

Game Name Shift Warp

Description: You are agent 272 and you are being sent to the planet gilbo where you will embark on a journey that will take you through the battle of your life! Your weaponry is your lively hood and you are sure to get some cuts and bruises on your missions. The main goal… To take out the ambassador of gilbo by any means necessary!

World - Maps: As mentioned above you are on planet gilbo, it’s a Sci Fi future world, you will see a lot of darker aged areas as well as cool light effects and steam throughout the levels. You will have multiple places to hide while fighting your enemies. For the look of the levels imagine, Halo & Doom without any blood. Also for each level you will have a similar setting, but you will know the difference. Each world will be on the darker side, but you will be able to see things when you get close to them. The enemies will stand out as I want to have glowing like badges on them so they are easy to spot in the darkness.

Characters: There is one main character, you agent 272. Your enemies will be storm trooper type characters that explode, shatter, and mall function. They will be easy kills but there will be 350+ enemies per level that you will have to destroy, this sounds like a lot but with for instance the Cannon Kagnoon, you could easily take out 10-15 of them at a time!

Weapons: You will have 5 main weapons that you get as your progress through the game. You will be able to carry all the weapons in the game at one time. You will start with the Master Blaster; this gun holds 500 bullets per round and is much like a machine gun. You will get 5 rounds per ammo pickup! Once you have gotten used to the Master Blaster, and you progress you will find secret ways to get different weapons. You can read about the weapons and their attributes below:

Enemies: The enemies are storm trooper / halo type of npcs. Basically they will carry the same weapons you do, but yours of course have better upgrades! The enemies will be an orange, silver and bluish color. Each color signifies their abilities, for instance a blue troop could probably take you out with 3 shots. While silver would need 10-15 to take you out. Not that it matters as you can take them all out quite easily. But their will be larger numbers of them then you are used to in a game.

HUD – On Screen Stuff: While you’re in the game playing, you will of course have a custom cross hair for each weapon, I have some cool ideas for these, and I can build them and show them in game quite fast and easy! You will also see a picture of your current weapon, and how much ammo and rounds you have left. I want to make a cool looking interface, and I can do that when the time comes.

Look and Feel: The look and feel of the game will be a top concern to me; I have played to many games that are so alike it’s scary. I want this to be one off but not so far fetched its not believable. I am thinking to start; a look sort of like COD and Star Wars intermixed.

Lighting: The lighting of the overall level will be on the darker side, but we will have some spots where you can see the outside sun which will be sort of dark as well. You will see rays of light through nearly every open window, and lots of steam. Each level will have a different lighting scheme to set the mood. I will get into that later on!

Sound: Each level will have different sounds that you encounter through the level, for instance if you have a lot of steam in one area, you will hear it! But the whole level will have a steady flow of non lyric music, I am thinking something techno with a little spook in it to add suspense. It will be quite and not over bearing, but you will hear it.

Weapons:
1. Master Blaster – Ammo: 500 Shots Per Round
2. Cannon Kagnoon – Ammo: 2 Shots Per Round
3. Laser Taser – Ammo: 275 Shots Per Round
4. Naster Sniper Rifle – Ammo: 100 Shots Per Round
5. Blaster Laser – Unlimited Ammo - LASER

Levels:
1. Upper Level: The Upper Level level will start by coming up with a bluish screen that will talk, and type your basic mission out. You mission will be located at an out door level and you will have to get from point A, to point B without being seen by to many enemies. You will be outside but it will still be at night time, so the level itself will be like city streets at night in the rain, sort of like France. You will have to slowly progress through the level. You may want to use your night vision for this level so you can see everything that happens!

2. Going Down: Once you have finished your first level you will be able to start picking up other weapons in the next few levels. The Going Down level will start by coming up with a bluish screen that will talk, and type your basic mission out. Your mission will be to find 3 buttons and ensure they are all pushed, once you get all 3 done you will progress to the next level.


3. Steam Strip: The Steam Strip level will start by coming up with a bluish screen that will talk, and type your basic mission out. The mission of this level is too slowly and quietly progress through the level without making to much disturbance. Your goal is to take out 7 main henchmen for the ambassador. You will want to use your Naster Sniper Rifle to take these guys out so you can do it at a distance. If you get to close, look out!

4. Under Pressure: The Under Pressure level will start by coming up with a bluish screen that will talk, and type your basic mission out. Your mission is to find the main 2 switches which open up the pressure chamber where the ambassador is located at. Once you get it open the battle begins. BRING IT!


5. Ambassador Battle: The final level is to take out the ambassador, your lovely blue screen will come up and brief you on the mission at hand. You will also be downloaded a new script which allows you to have unlimited ammo on your guns! That way you can take out the boss! It will take aprox 8500 shots to take out the boss. Once you have the credits will load with some cool music!
