3d studio Max & rotation & move

I have a problem wit 3d Studio Max 4.2.

It's a possible setting error....

I create a model... in the prospective view I rotate the camera... and while i'm rotating i don't see the object but only the "white" box with the size of my object...


I have to set something? for watching my object while i rotate cam?
