Hallo..

I am building a "Woman" right now.. And i must say that the hardest part on a human is the lips, And the eye sockets..

What do you say..

yeah eye sockets and the area around them are hard.

I'd also say shoulders also because of the rigging.
And the forearms (also partly because of rigging :/), and the... shoot modeling a human is hard in general :)

Definetly the area around the eyes is the hardest to model correctly, complex curves and in a sensitive area, the eyes; the eyes are what you look at when watching a face, mistakes there are more notorious.
I agree with Incitatus, the shoulders are a rigging nightmare. :D

I donīt think the lips are particulary dificult; although the corners of the mouth can give you problems at first.

Unfortunatly, we are all experts at the human face: we know when the slightest bit is wrong, but when it comes to making it ourselves, it's the hardest thing to do.

I'd actually say the breasts are the hardest to model. It is very difficult to get them right (especially if you want a realistic look to the chest.) They are in just such a complex area. The mass and size is difficult to judge, if too large though nice looking but they throw off the balance of the model because realistically the woman would topple over because she it too top heavy, and if too small the character looks to childish or even boyish. I'm not saying it isn't easy to model breasts (90% of you it was probable the first thing you modeled,) it's just difficult to get them to look correct when it comes to proportions.

I hate the elbows, knees and thumbs.
And inside the mouth.

I like eyes and lips modelling, with the right approach it should be no problem. My technique for eyes:
Draw a sphere in the front viewport(the eye). Set snap toggle to edge+vertex. Now you can draw the outline loop of the eye on the eyeball. Convert to poly and extrude the edgeloop a bit. After every extrusion adjust the vertexes while keeping edges selected. A few extrusions later you got a beautiful eye region.

lips:
start with a low poly torus primitive. Soft select two opposing cross sections and scale them slightly down(the mouth corners). Now you got upper and lower lip. Select upper lip cross sections and rotate+move them in position, same for lower lip. Now you can adjust the mouth shape by scaling+moving cross sections easily. When the lips look good, select an edgeloop that goes around the shape and extrude- that's it!

Dont you think the nose is the hardest part to model? Any nose experienced people out there?
