I have the following problem which I'm note sure of if there is any solution for it. Or at least the way I have in mind.
I have some edges selected on a tube, as shown in the picture below. I want to connect those edges, which isnt a problem. The problem is, my tube is quite long, so it is going to cost me ages to select all the differend edges in this way. Is there any way to speed up this process?

If you're making an object that repeats the same geometry over and over, you should model just the one piece and then copy it using the symmetry modifier or by SHIFT + MOVE. If they are all the same, then the ends should line up perfectly and this will make it easy to weld the vertices. If you use symmetry, you can enable welding and that will save you a step. No messy time consuming selection.
Although I do wonder what you will accomplish by connecting those edges...

I agree with our resident rock-star. As with anything on computers- you should never have to do any particular "motion" more than once or twice. Make copies of the segment and re-attach them, use the symmetry modifier, or make element clones to accomplish your goals!

Tx for the replies guys. Think thats the best solution to do here.
I want to connect the edges with 2 lines so I can extrude the new polygons inside.
