Here is a little soldier I made, maybe people can battle with these things, instead of killing eachother for real.

I hope that the war soon ends :(

Art is often pollicate in nature. To say no political statements on this forum, pls!!! is to say no art. Look at Picasso. Art often carried a political edge, and this is no different. It is artistic experetion. It isn't a discution on politics, it is a thread about a piece of art. I like it, it reminds me or a scene from "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones" though.

BTW: I'm want to give them guns, yeah. But I can't remember what lego-guns look like. Can someone please post a reference pic of a lego-gun cause I can't find one. And I through away all my lego years ago.

ive never seen guns at lego besides laser weapons and western pistols/rifles. but hey, i havent played with those for 10 years, dunno what all came to the market. Harry Potter was really out of the league in my opinion. btw nice army u got. some lego army knife would be an idea too i guess

I have the impression they are not fully attired as American soldiers should be.
They look more like militants of some sort. Like a parade of fedayeen, or Hamas.
I think you should replace their balaclava for real helmets. THEN you'll have soldiers.

So cute!!! I love the little Uzi as well :). A helmet would look good though, not a motorbike type helmet of course, but an army helmet, to make them look more like marines and less like Special Ops.

yeah, I know uzi's use mag, but I made the texture before the weapon. =)
Just imagine that he has only one mag and he reloads that mag with the bullets on his ammo belt :D

BTW...I reallly don't think there is anything wrong with porportions, only I can't really be sure, cause I don't have any LEGO left from my early days :roll: I find my references on the internet, so maybe you're right.

Oke guys...i recently got a new assignment for school...I have to make an animation.
No rules, as long as it is an animation.
So I thought, lets use my little soldiers.
I don't have much time...5 weeks, one day a week.
So no I already have my models done.
Im don't have much experience with this...this is gonna be my first real animation (I HOPE).

This is some sort of a presenter (wrong word I guess) of my animation...

THE HEADS are still wrong. they are not tall enought, they are way too flat, you need to look at a real lego man. I was a lego maniac when i was a kid (pun intended for those of you who caught it)
