I got my first tablet (a Calcomp) about 12 years ago from my parents for Christmas....I begged and begged and begged...when I finally got it, I hated it, but I had to use it or I would never get anything decent for Christmas again....took me 2 weeks before I could do anything with it....now my Wacom and me are inseparable. Very nice work for your first painting, you're a natural. Keep stroking!
(please no elaborations on that last bit of advice)

Mmm, we have one of those at school... :)
Wish I had spare time to use it more.. It was kinda the key feature when I was taking journalism. :D (I don't think she's gonna give me top grades)
B-utiful work, big guy!

Nice skills with the tablet - maybe a little more work on composition. Great job in every other respect.

Nice stuff mate. Did you draw all that using the Graphic Tablet, or just colour and texture it? And what software are you using? Will be interested to see where you go from here if this is just your beginer's stuff.
I don't think I could live without my Intuos 9*12. It was worth the huge amount of cash (and the way-too-long of subsisting on cheap food, and not a great deal of it, that went with the saving)
he tweaked vertex,
here the sketch I made and used as reference.. .. the rest was done using my tablet.
(oh vertex, and in case you didn't see it, there's a second image I made in the 3d section called slider, to show a little improvement you talked about)
thnx for all the replies guys!

Very very nice,
Im astonished at how people can draw so well with tablets..
my hand shakes too much (less coffee i guess ;))
Is there a big difference between Wacom Tablets and other ones.. ??(i bought a Trust 1200 wireless, and it seems very good, A4 size for only £66 :))
Thanks,

I've had a wacom tablet for about year and a half.. But still it doesn't feel as natural as drawing on real paper with real pen. Feels like the directions don't go the way I'd want to :( Any advises?
I'm sorry I ask it here but this was pretty much the first forum I thought it was reasonable to ask.. maybe I'll start a own thread some day :)
/edit: And yes that is one helluva drawing :) Like it a lot!
