I recently purchased your software for Mental Ray on 3D Studio Max but not having any luck running it
I have 3D Studio Max 9 with Vista 64 installed and wondering if this is why it is not running, I followed the install instructions and when i try and launch Cherry from interface it comes up with an error
Can you shed any light on this

Hi Glen.
I'm afraid I have some bad news. Microsoft did not recompile several of thier activeX components when making the 64-bit version of Windows. In short; BlueCherry will not run on a 64-bit machine. I'm afraid this cannot be changed.

Thanks Guy BlueSummer for your quick reply and your message sending to me.
Glen, can you please contact lynette clee at lynette@3dtotal.com telling her what had happened and put the link from this thread in a email, so she will not confuse, about getting this fellow a refund? I'm afraid you will have to provide the proof of your order, email from Paypal and 3dtotal shop etc, in an email as well.
I will also drop her a line to let her know the situation as well.
Bests,
Warin

Thanks, Warin:)
Glenn, if you could please drop me an email at lynette@3dtotal.com, with some information relating to your purchase so that I can track it and process a refund, that would be great.
Note: If you purchased by PayPal, please provide either your PayPal email address, or your Transaction ID if you still have it. If you purchased by credit card, you should have a referencer number looking something like, WedJul200712345678. If you could send me that reference, that would be a great help.
I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your purchase, and I hope to hear from you soon so we can get the refund sorted for you.
Thanks again, Warin!
Best wishes,
Lynette - 3DTotal

I'm afraid that 64-bit compatability is outside the scope of our upgrade schedule. There are many differences between 32 and 64 bit compilations of Windows that I'm sure you're already familiar with. Unfortunately, it's those differences that will make a V-64 version impossible.
My apologies.
