looks very nice. Just a couple of comments.
Why are the two shadows of all the little pegs such a different color?
Also the strings are pretty aliased, especially the bottom three.
But overall I think it looks very good.
The bottom one is a primitive that is why the lines are the way they are. That looks great very realistic i like it, my question how did you get the twist in the guitar strings is it a bump map?

Yes, wood04.jpg in the CD1 and other wood from my own collection.
The chipped decal is a nice touch.
Excellent work.
Hmm i wonder if the body color is metalflaked?

As always, great work. I really like the lightly worn areas.
Overall it looks verry nice, The shadows of the tuning pins (as previously mentioned ) do look pretty strange, being 2 different shades.
Im guessing your goin for an un-finished wooden guitar look, since there is verry little, if no gloss on the wood.
either way..great work.
ps..great metal texture. :)

I think that the two different color shadows are easily explained: Juan used two different colour light sources. Look at the metal to check this: one light source is color white/yellow and the other is blue... I had selected only one of both two to cast shadows...
Good job, Juan!!!

I think there are not 2 shadows from different colors, but a shadow and a reflection...right ?

I definately think it looks better with the soft shadows now, not that it didn't already look really good though :)

I love this picture, I just want to pick up the guitar check its tuning and starting Jamming to some Rock tunes :)
Well done, it is a personal goal of mine to perfect the guitar in 3DSMAX, only just discovered poly modelling and designing the image from a single object instead of creating 100 objects and aligning them together to make them look like they all fit :)
Good work, keep it up :)

just another suggestion, if you can make the silver fret older by putting a mark of the strings, since your guitar looks old. you know what I mean when you look a real old guitar.
I've already seen you work on 3dtotal and i'ts really nice.
