XSI beginner

I just bought XSI.

I am allready insanely frustrated. Since my PC doesnt support OpenGL, i downloaded GLDirect (which turned out to be a demo)

So every time i hit render, watermarks cover my entire scene.

Also i am having problems selecting items in my viewport. When i use rectangle selection, i cant select anything. So i must switch to freeform selection or something like that to select any objects. And when i then get down to polygons or vertecies, i cant select them no matter what i try.

Every timer i try to create nails in my cloth, the program crashes.
