One of my current models I'm working on. I'd thought I would try and do something a little different and went with a cartoon dog based on a tutorial I found.
It needs a bit of refining before I stitch it together.
C&C are all ways welcome. I'm not too sure on what to do about the paws, I don't know if I want to model them or just use a texture.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Aah, you're on that tutorial :D
Looks pretty good. The whole body (everything except the head) you could scale a bit wider (in the Z direction)
Did the tutorial end there? I don't remember... Would be cool with some more details.

Thanks. Will make the body a bit wider.
There are 4 video's to download, I'm on tutorial 3 at the moment. Will post more for further crits and comments, as I go.
Thanks for the comment.

Limbs are now stitched together, but still working on details and refining. And then stitching the 2 sides together.

New update. All limbs and sides are now stitched and the detail is added. Will probably do more cleaning then add a texture to it.

you should try to make the legs a bit more round. the best way to do this is proolly to get rid of some polly's.

cool update!
but he looks like a robodog now. the arms and legs are too far away from the body. especially rear legs. even if it is a cartoon dog you should look at some reference and then exaggerate the main things and legs to the side surely is not a dog attribute

PHE Ash: I see what you mean about the leg spread, I think the shoulder and hip's are protruding too far out. Comparing it to the first image i posted anyway.
markus_omega: I have deleted some poly's, but I'm afraid if I remove too much it will make the legs look square. But will go in and tinker about more.
Really appreciate the feedback ^_^

Bought the legs in to the body more as suggested, played about with the roundness of the legs and made the rear legs thicker.

Still too squashed looking.

Sorry but what do you mean by squashed?
Do you mean along the Z axis as mentioned before?

In the this direction. Depending how he's orientated, I think it's the X axis.
<------------------->
He looks like he was squeezed too hard.

looks like you might need to work on the seams on your body parts other than that nice

I'm still working away with the seams between the legs and body.
And thanks.

I widened and lengthened the body, but not a great deal as I don't want it ending up looking like a Bull dog.
