Yup, valentinesday is allready knocking on the front door, so I thought: ''let's make something cool for my girlfriend'' And here it is, the first render :) I'm aiming on keeping it simple but really sweet. C&C are welcome :)

Model made in 3d Studio Max 9, render done with Vray 1.5 RC3. Photoshop was not used to alter the image. Rendertime was about 3 minutes.

Looks great! Love the DOF and the chain. Heart looks a bit green though.

Looks pretty good :)

I'd higher the subdivisions on the heart itself though. A few corners look a bit on the edgey side.

Also, it being on the floor doesn't seem that romantic. It would have been better on some of other kind surface, like cloth or something of that type, with maybe a note in the corner at an angle

Might also be good to have a slight red tint to the metal.

Nice ;) but it reminds me of an old tutorial hehe i did the same as you did for my girlfriend 2 or 3 years ago :D
