Just posting my thread like everyone else. Working on my concept right now. I Have the idea in my head.... getting it on paper is the tough part. I also am a bit confused about the artifacts and weapons. Could someone clarify the difference? or whether the weapon can be the artifact?

Character story:
Demon warrior.
Uses relic sword (looks like a french sword.. or I want it to)
Fire/Lava (how original!)
Xbox Huge
armor fused with skin!

This is the concept for the head. I am pretty much just going to make a demon now. He'll use a french sword embroidered with magical symbols and what not. The sword will be the relic, it will control fire/lava. The demon will be Xbox Huge. This will be represented in the stand as I will have objects that can be seen as reference to his hugeness... but yeah... this is a basic concept of the skull, lacks detail but that's alright. I plan to have the whole concept finished by the 29th. Any suggestions welcome AND WANTED!!!!!!

I can't draw very well... WHICH IS AWFUL.. I really should be able to draw better.

BUT since not.... here's my concept skills in 3D! Z-brush is great for concepts... needs a lot of tweeking to get it angrier and tougher though!

that's what's up.

Small chest, almost looks like he has just one chest muscle. Widen and seperate.

Thanks Biggy,

Unfortunately my computer only has 1gig of ram so it's sloshing with the polys this thing has... anyone have tips on how to increase the speed of Z-brush? (without adding ram)

i have the same problem. so the only thing I have found is by hiding half your character while you work on certain areas. but its looking pretty sweet. keep it up

I don't use ZB, but yea the marker function will allow you to work, without bogging down your comp to much...you might have to keep a pad nearby for notes, once things get complicated.

The chest area seems to be undersized when you look at how wonderfully muscled the arms are. But thats already been mentioned.

I'd suggest spending some time working on the two sets of horns. A minor detail I know, but it really throws out the design for me. Neither set seem to arch/form gracefully (as all good daemon horns should dontcha know ;P ) Maybe try hitting up the ram horn search on google lol. Can't wait to see further developments.

Next concept... sort of more about the armor and the head than the body
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v166/pieisgood/armordemonconcept.jpg

I am digging the armor on this one more, the asymetry is much more appealing. The buffer larger body on the first model is something I will be shooting for in the final though. He needs to be intimidating and elegant all in one... so the armor will have to represent the elegance and the muscles and size will represent the intimidation (obviously). I am having a total imagination break down and can't really think of armor that would be "awesome" so I .. yeah... needs lots more conceptualizing...
