Class: - Stalker
Weapons: - Twin curved blades; Darkness/void
Race: Undead mutant
Story (can't do without one, don't we?):
"I was basking in the peaceful glory of nothingness, deeping myself into silence and rest as my life has been only duty and battle. Motionless and absence sang like a sweet flow in my spirit, so slow and fluid and contiguouse... Untill I have been summoned forth, to my duty, once more. Now all I see is bright lights and even the deepest silence of life is a cacofony of noise for me and in my soul there is rage and fury and a cold so deep only the void can make it go away. So I yearn for the void... I shall do my duty once more as duty binds me more than anything to my essence. But wherever I'll go, darkness and void shall follow."

Well, I will keep posting here untill I'll find an army that wants me. I kindda started to feel like the mutant guy from The 300 and I feel kindda sad Threedy doesn't trust it's 2D artists. Makes me ask myself what I'm doing here.

I'm not really sure we had any say it in it, Avatar. :( Maybe you should have a word with Tom. If the assumption was made based upon the profile of the 2D aspects of our forum, then it's probably time that that part of the forums had some focus on it. But then of course the 2D forum is predominantly your baby, so if anyone is gonna push it that should probably be you. Sounds like a worthy cause to me. :)

Cool. Maybe if we can get enough interest, we can persuade Fred to let us join that part. :)

I've sent a PM to Fred. Let's see what he says. I think we will need to prove there's sufficient interest though. Give Tom a shout Avatar, maybe he can post a call to arms, if Fred says there's a chance. :D

I already posted a shout in the 2d forums. Let me see first if I can get my "300". No need to disturb Tom unless there is a good reason.

Posture update. There are just preliminary sketches. When I'll consider I have enough of them and the study of the character is complete, I'll just make them greyscale and submit them (if it will come to that) as stage one of the contest.

McKronic He is undead, as such, part of the darkness and the void. Void is nothingness and even darkness can be described as absence. Absence of light thus color and we all, subconsciously associate color with life. The weapons are his bindings. They create a magical connection between the void from which he was summoned, to this world. He can blend into shadows, travel to one shadow to another, use shadows as gates or portals in this reality. The green stuff is his undead essence. Magic of the earth keeping him alive. The smoke is not quite smoke, but rather the dark energies of the void, flowing out of him, sucking life, light and sound around him, enveloping him when needed, acting like camouflage. The darkness from the blades acts vampiric, draining whatever is the lifeforce of the creature has been stroke. The green stuff can act like poison, infesting and paralizing the victim.
Rych - would be great to have you along. If you look closely you'll see that what you might consider glassy is infact patches of skin showing through his costume. He is a mutant undead, with his blades acting like a bridge between the void from which he was summoned and this world. The costum is more like a protection suite to animate his corps and sustain his essence.
Tank[NL]- to be honest I really don't know what will happen. If I don't manage to rise the 2d community here I will be greatly dissapointed. So I might move on myself to a place where I would feel more in my medium. Still considering that.
As for the pose, I already have something in mind for him so no, posing won't be a trouble. I'm thinking him, in shadow, after he just struck down a sentient machine, dark energies flowing and linking him to the darkness, strained and ready to retreat as another sentient machines aproaches. Aldo he is a warrior he is not built for heavy fights, but for stealth and silance.

anima3d - no worried, the blades are nothing like Illidan's blades. They are pure darkness inscribed with the glyphs that link the undead soul to the body and the void the same time and the body to the costume that keeps him walking.
