Wow well thanks for informing everyone who owns the previous version. I am very disappointed in you guys. What a waste of my hard earned money!

Believe me, I'm disappointed too.
There are a lot of reasons that went into the cancellation; it wasn't something that happened overnight. I could write a really long monologue about all the details, but I'll forgo that in favor of a simple explanation- the nature of the underlying technology changed. When windows Vista came out, it meant that we would have to support not one but two platforms (and then the issue of r8 to r9). The technicalities involved and time it would have taken to iron it all out would have vastly outweighed the gains we could have made from additional sales.
I'm sorry that this had to happen, but this was a business decision that I made and I urge you not to hold it against 3dTotal as a company.

Yes but as a company developing a software did you actualy expect 3DSmax and windows to never upgrade they're software? Thats the basics of software development. It makes me have no faith in the company and I feel Bluecherry was a quick way to make a buck and as soon as you hit a snag you drop it. I surely will not purchase anything from this site or company again.

Sure- it makes sense that the software would be upgraded. However, we really believed that the APIs would remain somewhat constant. They did not, and that meant that serious reorganization was needed.

I'm really sorry if we've offended you in some way. BlueCherry was written because users were having trouble generating clean renders quickly. Believe me when I say it was not done for the money. When we realized that the potential returns were vastly overshadowed by the work required to upkeep the project, the decision was clear.
I surely will not purchase anything from this site or company again.
Again, that's a shame. 3DT makes some pretty cool stuff. I've worked at 3 separate companies and those texture CDs been invaluable at each one.

LOL! Refund = Bribery or shut the hell up. No thanks keep it. I get it, thats just business good or bad however people choose to see it. As a paying customer who put my faith in the company I feel I have a right to speek my opinion whether its right or wrong as well. And dont worry this is the last you'll hear from me. My advice is to put a notice in this section about the cancelation of the software for the rest of the customers waiting for it like I was as Im sure this thread will be deleted.

Don't worry this thread will not be deleted, we welcome all customer feedback and feel we can learn from it. Other customers may see that we offer full refunds if they are dissatisfied in any way, and I appreciate your assistance in making this clear for others.
best regards

I think it stinks that the plugin isn't available. However, I got more than my $15 worth out of it. It also helped me understand MR a little bit more. I realize that there wasn't enough profit margin to make it worth it. Maybe if you were charging $300 it might pay to recompile the program, but you may not sell as many.
It was a good effort with good intentions. It is also a reminder that people shouldn't rely on a "push button" technique in exchange for understanding your software.
