first time for Dominance Wars
and this is my first idea

then I try to do sample model for test to find how about best way for me before start main body.

Is the Hi Poly from ZBrush a normal map which you exported into 3ds max? If yes could you say me how you've done this? I got problems with the normal map export into 3ds max... Or if you have got a tutorial i would be happy about it.
I like the weapons 1 and 3 because they look like a key to open the gate, nice idea
*Edit* Lol you have written that it should be a key to open or release something :D

I like your concepts, and the key is looking good. reminds me of kingdom hearts, but not toony. keep up the pace :)

oh yes I did hi poly by Zbrush.
I used 600 triangle in lowpoly in 3d max and 600,000 triangle in Zbrush.
That s fine Star_Scream for how to.
I will show you how to do normal map but when i did it
(may be in few day)

Excellent Concept, Dimensional attacks...wonder what happens if he uses the key on an opponents armour, or mind? Hmmm.....
Love the key idea and it's execution. If you can keep the overall detail up to this standard without it looking to busy it is going to go far.

Yes, this concept is better and clearer. I like it. The mask look like a traditional venetian mask.

is it okay to unwrap only half of the model and then create the normal map???

no problem,cause both of front side and back side are same and when i use hi poly i will use only half for do normal map.
do only half will help me to save time and space of material.

doing half will save you time and texture space, but it will also give you a nasty seam down the middle of your mesh, plus as far as judging goes, you will loose points for taking the easy way out.

I never said that easier.
cause I know about that problem with middle mesh and I know how to fix it(about nasty seam)
I didn t cut my model at the middle.

sweeeeeet! great concept and your modeling is awesome keep up the good work.
I would have to say quite original model, but the first thing I thought of when I saw him was to Quote Louise "I am the keymaster! Are you the gate keeper?" LOL
Thought the model is looking pretty fierce! I can't wait to see how you pull him out of the whole thing. He is very dark and dim I hope you go for that kinda dark dirty texture with alot of dirt and dust.

I dont know about everyone else, but i was kind of liking his mask when it was more squarish like a voodoo mask, i mean, dont get me wrong, ITS GREAT right now, but the mask has sort of lost a slight appeal that it once had for me. Up to you, otherwise, Its going great! :)
P.S it might just be me, but the detailing on his mask seems to distract from a good overall view. If you know what i mean.

Suuuuweeett!!!
The color scheme feels a little Monochromatic but that really does not hurt the image. I see this character as sort of ether like, ghost qualities come to mind.
Great Job, I hope you place.

Cool character. But the beauty shot is kinda confusing. Lot's of things happening steal the show a bit, and the character ends up a bit lost in the middle.
