I haven't posted anything here in ages but here are a couple of my latest renders. The Spitfire is created in Cinema4D and the Messerschmitt me109 in MODO.

Those are some beautiful renderings!
What render engine did you use?
I've seen these renders before... I'm still impressed :)... You've done some of the best airplane models I've seen.
Wonderful texturing job and nice dynamic compositions - 5* for me

Image 1,2 and 5 (the ones with the Messerschmitt in the foreground) are rendered in Modo. Image 3,4 and 6 (the ones with the Spitfire in the foreground) are rendered in C4D.
Here's some WIPs if you would like to see:

Stunning work, long live the Spitfire! Is that a mark V? Your models are excellent, the texturing is fantastic, and the renders are just the same. Those are some of the best C4D renders I have ever seen.
On the minus side, I think the planes look a bit flat when shown from a large distance, the nice specular effects are lost. Also, in some of the images, I don't think the planes fit into their backgrounds very well. This is especially evident in images 1 and 4, the planes look like they're a bit too obviously composed over a photo.
I hope that makes sense, and please know that it is nothing more than a nitpick. 5* work overall.
